Javier Solorzano

Javier Solorzano is an artist and designer born in East LA and raised in Bell Gardens, CA. He has experience designing product packaging for retail, logo branding, trade show spaces, as well as media for both print and web. His designs have appeared in Pet Age Magazine, Pacific Maritime Magazine and seen at SuperZoo, the World Agricultural Expo and at Natural Products Expo West. He has also performed live art at events across Los Angeles. His art brings together his influences from lucha libre, sports, Chicano culture, his pets, and comic books to create bold designs and eclectic art pieces ranging from luchadores and wrestlers, to Ninja Turtles and everything in-between.

Javier is also the host, and Co-Creator of The Media Noche Show where he interviews artists and musicians from Los Angeles. He is also the creator of “Luchisimo” a lucha libre comic set in an alternate East LA.

Javier received his Bachelor of Arts in Film ∓ Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2009.

He currently lives in Los Angeles, hunting for tacos ∓ adventure with Coco Cat & Pizza Cat.
